To help individuals who are interested in installing a wind turbine on their property and to determine wind resources in Utah, the State Energy Program loans individuals with promising sites an anemometer and the necessary equipment needed to measure wind resources on their land. Each anemometer collects wind-speed data in 10-minute intervals.
