Yuba Lake
State Park
![]() |
Yuba Lake State Park uses photovoltaic (PV) systems to power a radio repeater and campsite light fixtures.
The repeater is located on a hill with line-of-sight to the well pump, water tank, and park headquarters.
Information is transmitted between these locations, allowing automatic operation of the water system. A small 50-watt panel is all that is necessary to operate the radio transmitter.
The campground on the east side of the lake is lit with solar-powered lighting. Each campsite has a light fixture in the cabana.
