Draft Report Public Hearing
November 10, 2010 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the State Senate Building Room 215 (east building in the Capitol Complex)
Public Hearings Scheduled for Governor's Ten-Year Energy Initiative
SALT LAKE CITY—Governor Gary R. Herbert announced today an important next step in the creation of his 10-Year Strategic Energy Plan, with four public hearings scheduled across the State.
"We are moving forward with our plan to responsibly develop Utah's abundant energy resources, while also pursuing renewable energy opportunities throughout the State," Governor Herbert said. "A critical part of this process is to gather valuable input from stakeholders and citizens."
The meetings will be facilitated by Ted Wilson, Governor Herbert's senior environmental advisor and chairman of the Governor's Energy Initiative Task Force. Members of the Task Force will also be present.

- November 17-18—Staff prepares draft.
- December 13—Deadline for Task Force draft comments.
- December 20 to January 1—Governor reviews the draft.
- January to February—Review and finalize report.
